About Me
Many of you will already know me from either twitter or facebook (I get around the internet) if not here is a little about me…
I’m a web developer based in Shropshire. I write code and I love it!
Using a combination of XHTML, CSS, PHP, mySQL, Javascript, jQuery, Actionscript and a whole bunch of other fun stuff, I build websites.
I have extensive experience building sites of all sizes from large scale e-commerce to Wordpress blogs or small scale lead-generation brochure sites. For a few examples have a look at my portfolio here
A bit of background …
A long time ago, in a galaxy far far away… I was a marketing assistant, after that I moved into print design and from there I found I loved web design and development.
Since my humble beginnings I’ve worked with a number of agencies throughout Shropshire in both a print and web capacity. I’ve found that my varied background gives me a unique perspective on, not just the best way to code your website, but how important the design and brand continuity is, how to optimize for search engines and how to market your website once live so that you continue to get the most from it.
As you may have guessed by now, I am a complete geek! No point trying to deny it. I’m also a self proclaimed apple ‘fan girl’ and an active member of shropgeek. Oh, and a twitter ‘junkie’ ~grin!
